Archery Experience for Secondary 1 Cadets
Our Secondary 1 cadets took part in an exciting archery experience, where they learned the fundamentals of handling a bow and arrow under careful guidance. Through this activity, they developed essential skills such as focus, patience, and precision while aiming at their targets. The session also emphasised the importance of discipline and self-control — qualities that are vital for NPCC.
Air Pistol Experience for Secondary 2 Cadets
Our Secondary 2 cadets had the opportunity to experience air pistol shooting, where they learned the basics of handling and aiming an air pistol under guided supervision. The activity required them to stay calm and focused while hitting their targets, teaching them the importance of discipline and concentration. It also offered them a glimpse into one of the many crucial skills used by police officers in Singapore.
Home Team Gallery Visit for Secondary 3 Cadets
Our Secondary 3 cadets visited the Home Team Gallery at the Home Team Academy, where they explored various interactive exhibits showcasing Singapore’s Home Team efforts. They learned about the significant roles played by the Home Team in protecting our nation and gained a deeper appreciation for their contributions in keeping Singapore a safe and secure home for all. The visit inspired our cadets to value the importance of service, unity, and resilience in safeguarding our country.
Achievement
Our NPCC unit was proud to receive the Unit Overall Proficiency Award (Distinction) this year, a recognition of our commitment to excellence and service. This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of our cadets and officers, as well as the strong spirit of teamwork and perseverance that defines our unit.
NPCC had the opportunity to lead the National Day Parade this year, and it allowed me to strengthen my confidence as a leader while developing valuable skills in communication and teamwork. Working with my NDP EXCO, teacher officers, and cadet inspectors taught me the importance of collaboration and trust in achieving a common goal. Seeing everyone's hard work come together on parade day was incredibly fulfilling and reminded me how commitment and teamwork can turn any challenge into success. This experience has inspired me to continue growing as a leader and to take on future opportunities with enthusiasm and resilience.— Sivamanikandan Poorniga
