2025 Key Events and Achievements
This year, the girls set their sights on surpassing their 2024 performance, and their determination truly shone through. Under the leadership of their captains, they took the initiative to organise additional training sessions, refining their tactical strategies and strengthening team cohesion. Their commitment and drive were evident throughout the season as they pushed their limits and gained valuable experience from each match. The team’s admirable sportsmanship stood out — they cheered wholeheartedly not only for their teammates but also for their opponents. With pride and perseverance, the girls gave their all while representing the school. Their hard work paid off when the ‘C’ Division team made history by advancing to the quarter-finals — just one goal shy of a place in the semi-finals.
The Netball girls took teamwork to a whole new level during their enrichment programme at Escape Room! Stepping away from the court, they found themselves immersed in a world of mystery and problem-solving. Working in teams, the girls raced against time to uncover hidden clues, crack challenging puzzles, and solve thrilling mysteries. The experience not only strengthened their communication and collaboration but also allowed them to discover and tap into one another’s unique strengths. Through this fun-filled adventure, the team demonstrated remarkable leadership, creativity, and camaraderie — proving that their strong team spirit extends well beyond the game.
As a Secondary 1 Netball player, I had the opportunity to compete in the NSG and take part in a team-bonding activity at an escape room. The NSG journey was both fun and challenging, with months of rigorous training that improved my skills, fitness, and teamwork. Though the matches were tiring, my teammates' encouragement motivated me to give my best. The escape room activity during the June holidays allowed us to bond and work together in a different setting. Through these experiences, I've gained confidence, built lasting friendships, and learned valuable lessons in teamwork and leadership.— Mysha Eliza Alexandria Binte Mahfoot Alexandria
